Messaging Module
|
The Messaging module is designed as an internal means of sending messages to
users of your customized software application. The module can be used in two modes:
manual mode for manually sending messages to another user or automatic mode for
automatically sending messages to users when predefined events occur. The module
contains a list of all active messages for the logged on user and an area
for sending messages.
Popular implementations of this module in manual mode include sending messages to
other users related to invoice notes, special instructions, changes in original
discussions or reminders. Popular implementations for the automatic mode include
automated messages for changes to your production schedule, changes to the calendar
and users trying to access items for which they do not have permissions.

|
The Audio Files module integrates WAV sound files into your customized
application. Sound file interaction includes record, play, pause, stop, fast

|
The Log Viewer module is designed to provide a simplified interface for viewing and

application. The log stores the previous value, what the value was changed to, when

cards, HR records, invoices, application permissions or to log users accessing the

|
The Comments module is designed to assist users in authoring comments associated
with data items maintained in any module of your customized application.
Information such as comment, date/time and author are maintained by this module.
Using a familiar word processor type interface, comments can be typed directly into
the editor or copied and pasted from text created in other word processors.
Printing capability is included to provide a paper copy if needed. Comments are easily
located by clicking on the note icon next to the original data item.

The Reason module provides a location for users to enter a reason for performing certain
transactions within your customized application. The module can require that users select
the reason from a predefined list, or enter their own explanation. The reason is conveniently

pricing changes, application permission, test results and invoices as well as many

The Electronic Activity Recipient Server (EARS) is a stand-alone Windows Server®
service that listens for and relays
wireless device transmissions to the database at the back end of your customized
software applications. EARS converts the wireless transmission stream into data
that can be viewed within your application.
Popular implementations of the EARS service include relaying wireless
transmissions from our
mobile inventory and
time clock modules. EARS can be

The Electronic Activity Recipient Server (EARS) Client is a stand-alone
application that monitors and controls our EARS service.
EARS Client is designed to simulate the wireless transmissions,
typically sent by a wireless device, in order to monitor and test the
EARS service. By using the EARS Client, the
EARS service can be monitored and tested through
any computer on your network.

The File Copy Utility is a stand-alone application that is designed to copy a file
to a specified location at a scheduled interval. Information maintained by the
utility includes origin file name, destination file name and copy interval.

data integration.
