Molds
|
The Mold module provides an easy to use interface for managing the product
molds used in your production processes. The module provides functionality
to set up and maintain your molds, track the products that the mold produces
and view a complete history of how the mold has been used and stored. Search
functionality is included to easily locate the molds that you are looking for.
Reporting capability is included to print information on all molds, an individual
mold or new molds.
Bar Code label printing is also incorporated to create labels to
attach to the molds to help track usage history through the Molds mobile
application. The Molds mobile application runs on the wireless device pictured
here.
The mobile application provides
functionality to move a mold into a machine, move a mold out of a machine
into storage and move a mold out for repair. The mobile application also
provides functionality to submit an on-line work order.
The Mold Detail tab maintains information such as mold number, mold name, customer,
current location, cavities, vendor, notes, prototype status, subcontracted status,
obsolete status and new mold status.
The Part Numbers tab provides a location to track the products that the mold is
capable of producing. The Location History tab shows a complete history of how
and where the mold has been utilized.
